SUBSTANCE: cartridge belt for automatic weapons contains serially located and hingedly connected to each other links made of plastic, containing upper and lower cartridge grips connected to each other by jumpers. One jumper of each link is made in the form of a shoulder with a rod. Second jumper of each link is represented by a post with a retainer made in the form of a hollow cylinder with a gap along the entire height of the cylinder with the formation of a hook-shaped hook, with the possibility of inserting the rod of the jumper of the adjacent link into the gap of the cylinder and latching the rod in the retainer due to elastic deformation of the retainer, and retention of the jumper rod of the adjacent link inserted into the retainer.
EFFECT: improved operational characteristics, including by reducing the time for removal of failed links of the cartridge belt in case of distortion of its geometric dimensions or damage to the integrity of the link or part of the cartridge belt, including at breaking loads and possibility of cartridge belt continuity restoration.
