FIELD: rocket and space engineering.
SUBSTANCE: reusable reentry apparatus is a truncated cone, the side surface and bottom of which are covered with heat protection. In the upper part there is a docking unit. Apparatus is equipped with control, orientation and navigation systems. In the upper part of the vehicle there is a rotor assembly for descent of the vehicle in the Earth's atmosphere "as per helicopter" in the autorotation mode. To control the common and cyclic pitch, the rotor blades are built into the bushing by their axial hinges. Reversible stepper motor is used to control the position of the blade relative to the hinge axis. Prior to takeoff, rotor blades are turned relative to their horizontal hinges and pressed to aircraft cone. Blade vertical hinge is arranged between axial and horizontal hinges. Along the descent trajectory, the total and cyclic pitch of the blade is controlled to bring the vehicle with the required accuracy to the preset landing area.
EFFECT: achieving accuracy of bringing reusable vehicle to preset landing area while maintaining comparative simplicity of design.
