FIELD: cosmonautics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to rocket and space engineering, and more specifically to designs of reusable space systems and method of reusable space transport system flight to the Moon. Reusable space transport system for a flight to the Moon consists of a package of blocks of the first and second stages and a package of payload blocks. Blocks contain sustainer engines and have limited diameter. Each of the blocks of the first stage has landing supports. Each of the blocks of the second stage contains flaps of the tail fairing used as supports. Payload consists of a lunar ship and two tankers capable of flying around the Moon, as well as performing a soft dynamic landing with open flaps of the tail fairing as supports. Each element of the system contains a rotor, which allows to perform soft helicopter-type landing in the mode of autorotation in the specified area.
EFFECT: development of reusable space transportation system for flight to the Moon and method of its flight based on rocket units of limited diameter.
