FIELD: means of detecting, recognizing and combating unmanned aerial vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used to detect a radio-emitting aerial target—an intruder UAV, lifting and withdrawing an interceptor UAV in an automatic remotely-piloted mode, using the calculated direction to the target, to the intruder UAV detection zone by the on-board video camera and then continuing the flight to the target in the guidance mode according to the video camera data until its kinetic destruction. UAV countermeasure device is made in the form of remotely piloted aircraft control panel, consists of flight remote control means, bidirectional radio communication channel, radio signal processing unit, video data and telemetry, satellite navigation means, touch screen monitor, direction-finding antennae. It is possible to use both specialized interceptor UAVs and domestic or sport UAVs for countermeasures without changing their design and functional capabilities.
EFFECT: minimization of qualification requirements for UAV pilot.
