FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tools for providing railway transport safety. The infrastructural vision system for train traffic safety in a limited visibility area is comprised of video cameras, a lidar and a thermal imagery apparatus, connected with the corresponding inputs of the computer via the corresponding object processing modules, wherein the computer comprises an object detection and identification module with an artificial neural network module connected thereto. A satellite navigation system signal receiver, a signalling apparatus, an automatic calibration module, a diagnostics module, and a communication and data transmission module connected with the on-board alarm system and the remote monitoring and control centre via a high-speed communication line are therein connected to the calculator. The remote monitoring and control centre is comprised of a communication and data transmission module, a computer, a control module and a monitor of the driver-operator, connected in series. The on-board alarm system is comprised of a computer connected to a unit of the microprocessor control and diagnostics system of the train, a communication and data transmission module, and a monitor of the driver.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of identifying obstacle objects in the area of movement of a high-speed electric train.
