SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a lunar phase indicating mechanism (100) for clock, which can be driven by clock mechanism (200), the action of which depends on division of time, wherein said lunar phase display mechanism (100) comprises: lunar phase indicator (110), on which there is at least one image of the moon; lunar phase indicator (110) hopping drive mechanism (120), which can be driven by said clock mechanism (200) and actuated by jumps of the lunar phase indicator (110); wherein lunar phase display mechanism (100) is characterized by that the hopping drive mechanism (120) is configured to rotate said lunar phase indicator (110) by n single movements per day, wherein n is greater than 1, wherein each single movement rotates the lunar phase indicator (110) through an angle α equal to the angle of rotation corresponding to the daily step divided by the number n of single movements.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of indication in comparison with known mechanisms of indication of phases of the Moon, which allows mechanisms of indication of phases of the Moon of jumping type to reduce "indication error" so that the image corresponds to reality and was closer to the state of the lunar body without complicating the indication mechanism, eliminating the need for a slow-moving type indication mechanism, which is unequal, cumbersome and difficult to manufacture and implement.
