SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to instrumentation and may be used in repair and adjustment of gas compressor units. When implementing the method, readings are taken through a reading device installed in a boss on the connecting shaft cover of the gas pumping unit.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of taking readings of phase and amplitude of vibrations without stopping gas pumping units (GPU), in the medium with oil spraying, oil mist in the modes of operation of the GPU.
