FIELD: product balancing.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used, in particular, when carrying out routine maintenance and repair (M&R) of gas compressor units (GCU) with a centrifugal supercharger (CSC) equipped with a magnetic suspension system. The balancing method is implemented by dynamic balancing of the CSC rotor, equipped with a magnetic suspension system, on its own supports. The method consists of vector balancing of two-bearing rotors in two correction planes. When implementing the method, first, gas compressor units (GCU) with a centrifugal supercharger (CSC) are started to determine the amplitudes and phases of oscillations of both bearing supports of the CSC rotor under the influence of the initial unbalance of the rotor, then started with a test load on the front support, and then started with a test load on back support. Based on their results, the vibration vectors of the supports and the influence vectors are determined. According to the results of trial runs, using the vector method, the vectors of influence of the installed loads on the correction plane are determined. Using the magnitude and angle of the influence vectors, the masses and installation locations of the loads are determined, which are required to balance the initial unbalance of the CSC rotor.
EFFECT: due to the fact that the CSC rotor is flexible, balancing is performed at a speed corresponding to 4700-4800 rpm. The technical result consists in reducing the level of vibration of the CSC rotor with magnetic suspension in all modes of operation of the main gas pipeline and, as a result, increasing the range of stable operation of the CSC in modes with a low flow rate of the pumped gas and a high degree of compression.
