FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of steel for wind power engineering with low-temperature impact strength. Method includes pretreatment in the form of desulphurisation of molten steel, smelting in the form of melting of pretreated molten steel, refining, which includes LF-refining and RH-refining, continuous casting, which is casting with protection during the whole process, and rolling, including rough rolling and final rolling.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain steel with low-temperature impact strength and complex characteristics, such as strength of the product, percentage elongation after breaking and characteristics of cold bending, wherein a plate from rolled with normalization of steel with thickness of 6 to 63 mm is obtained.
