FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: system for determining the location of an agricultural tool, which performs an agricultural operation on a site, includes a global positioning system (GPS) associated with an agricultural tool, to provide information on location for agricultural operation on site. Location information relates to an agricultural operation event. There is also a GPS augmentation system associated with an agricultural implement. GPS augmentation system includes an inertial measuring unit located on an agricultural machine. Inertial unit has 9-axis inertial measuring unit with sensors. Said unit supplements GPS or replaces GPS during GPS outage.
EFFECT: improved location detection.
