FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for controlling electric motors using vector control. Induction motor control device comprises a frequency converter, the first inputs of which are connected to a three-phase network, and its outputs through current sensors are connected to the induction motor inputs, two coordinate converters, the speed setting device, the first and second current regulators, the first, second and third comparison elements, speed controller, motor d-component computer, motor current q-component computer, slip computer, turn angle computer and speed sensor, stator current calculation unit and optimum control unit. Optimum control unit comprises a control unit and a search direction selection unit. Stator current calculation unit comprises the first and second multipliers, adder, and square root computer. Output of the stator current calculation unit is connected through the optimum control unit to the input of the computer of the d-component of the motor current, the second inputs of the computer of the q-component of the motor current and the slip computer.
EFFECT: increased energy efficiency of the induction motor control device.
