FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in erection of bearing and non-bearing walls of residential and non-residential buildings. Building block for erection of walls is made of foam concrete in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped. Semicircular chutes are made on its top, bottom and side faces, and at least one vertical through hole is made in the building block, the radius of which is equal to the radius of the chutes. All chutes and vertical holes are made in such a way that when laying building blocks chutes form round holes, which together with vertical holes form a checkered structure of round cavities, and dimensions of unit are 40×40×80 cm.
EFFECT: increased rigidity of bearing and non-bearing walls of residential and non-residential buildings, as well as possibility of erection of demountable walls without using cement mortar.
