SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing an aqueous dispersion of a fluorine-containing elastomer, as well as a composition for producing a molded article. Method involves polymerisation in an aqueous medium of a fluorine-containing monomer in the presence of polymer (1) containing polymerisation unit (1) based on monomer (1) of general formula CF2=CF-R-CZ1Z2-COOM, where R is a binding group, each of Z1 and Z2 is independently F or CF3, and M is H, a metal atom, NR74, imidazolium, optionally containing a substitute, pyridinium, optionally containing a substitute, or phosphonium, optionally containing a substitute, where R7 is H or an organic group.
EFFECT: method enables to produce a sufficient amount of fluorine-containing elastomer particles at a sufficient polymerisation rate, while inhibiting adhesion of the fluorine-containing elastomer in the polymerisation tank.
