FIELD: fire extinguishing.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of reducing inertia of sprinkler irrigator actuation and a device for its implementation. Inventions are applicable in automatic water and foam fire extinguishing installations equipped with water and foam irrigators with heat-sensitive elements of a thermal lock, made in the form of glass bursting thermal flasks, having a sprayer made in the form of a housing and a socket and directed by the socket vertically downwards. Application is limited to rooms with height of up to 20 m. Method is characterized by the following steps: connecting a heat-collecting plate of a square shape, having a central hole coaxially with the irrigator, with a welded coupling; controlling horizontal position of heat-collecting plate using construction level, at that, ensuring the alignment of the central hole and the sprinkler irrigator, which is installed in the welded coupling, the permissible deviation from coaxiality should be not more than 10 mm per 1,000 mm of the axis length; adjusting the distance from the heat-collecting plate to the lower outlet of the sprinkler irrigator, the distance should be in range of 40 to 80 mm; providing a gap between the welded threaded coupling and the heat collecting plate; providing an open circular gap between the heat-collecting plate and the sprinkler irrigator, open with possibility of passing concentrated convective heat flow in case of fire upwards coaxially with sprinkler, providing intensive heating by concentrated convective heat flow of heat-sensitive element of thermal lock of sprinkler irrigator. Device for method is made in form of concentrator of heat convective flows, comprising a horizontally located heat-collecting plate above a sprinkler irrigator with a socket installed in a welded threaded coupling, heat-collecting plate is made of square shape with central hole coaxially with sprinkler irrigator, diameter of the hole by a tolerance value of up to 40 % exceeds the maximum size of the cross section of the sprinkler irrigator, with the provision of an open circular gap between the heat-collecting plate and the sprinkler irrigator, heat-collecting plate is installed on the welded coupling by means of a clamp covering the cylindrical surface of the welded threaded coupling, and four tape suspensions symmetrically distributed along the coupling circumference, on the side of the central part of the heat-collecting plate the ends of the suspensions are bent and coupled with the clamp and fixed on it by means of screw connections, the suspensions are directed to the peripheral part of the heat-collecting plate, on the peripheral side the ends of the suspensions are bent and conjugated with the heat-collecting plate and fixed on it by means of fasteners, such as rivets or self-tapping screws.

EFFECT: invention discloses a method of reducing inertia of sprinkler irrigator actuation and a device for its implementation.
