SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and electrodynamics, in particular to a method and a device for transmitting electrical energy. Method of electric energy transfer consists in the fact that electric energy from electric network is supplied to frequency converter, where it is converted into high-voltage high-frequency electric power and is transmitted along a single-wire resonant half-wave line (tuned line), tuned to the half-wave taking into account the total electrical length from the grounding circuit of the transmission to the grounding circuit of the receiver and several coils for increasing the distributed inductance connected to the line. Direct current line is double-wire, and the half-wave line is single-wire.

EFFECT: single-wire resonant half-wave line is the most economical transmission of electric energy, this is achieved due to half-wave transmission, when in the middle of the half-wave line voltage is maximum, and current is minimum, efficiency of transmitted power is even higher than that of direct current transmission with comparable parameters.
