The device for expanding a coherent optical radiation beam contains a first optical element and a second optical element, while the first optical element contains an optical radiation diffuser with a given angular aperture, made with the possibility of scattering incident optical radiation, while the first optical element is made with the possibility of directing optical radiation scattered by an optical radiation diffuser with a given angular aperture into the plane of the second optical element with a given cross-section shape and uniformity of the optical radiation beam; and the second optical element is made with the possibility of collimation of the optical radiation beam and its output while maintaining the coherence of the optical radiation beam.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the optical system while maintaining the coherence of the optical radiation beam at the output and reducing or eliminating speckles.
