FIELD: control devices.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed device relates to retail devices, in particular, to devices for movement of goods in vending machines for sale of liquids, in particular—beverages packed in bottles or cans, for example, in aluminum cans. Disclosed device can be used for goods requiring special conditions of sale, such as mandatory scanning of a barcode before issuing to a customer. Also described is a method for determining the quantity of goods (bottles or cans) using the disclosed device. To achieve said technical result, disclosed is a device comprising a base, a bushing fixed on the base and a geared motor for rotating the bushing, as well as a movable element with a movably placed inside the pusher, one end of the pusher protrudes beyond the movable element, and the second end rests against the tube, in which one end is soldered, and in the second end there is a sensor with a function of determining pressure in the tube, wherein the said sensor is electrically connected to the microcontroller. Method for determining the quantity of goods provides that goods in bottles or cans are placed horizontally on a shelf at an angle, product, rolling, rests against the protruding part of the pusher, the pusher is displaced and presses on the tube, due to which the pressure inside the tube increases and a sensor placed on one end of the tube records the pressure inside the tube and transmits the signal to the microcontroller, which calculates the amount of the product remaining on the shelf.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of tracking the amount of goods remaining in the vending machine, packed in a bottle or can, placed horizontally in the vending machine.
