FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cattle orthopedics. Disclosed is a method for early diagnosis of pathologies of distal extremities of lactating cows by intensity of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant protection during orthopedic clinical examination of cattle. Method involves studying lipid peroxidation parameters: IDB, DC, TC, ODC, FS, as well as an indicator of total antioxidant protection.
EFFECT: method enables to solve the problems of early detection of latent orthopedic pathologies of distal extremities in cattle, in particular, it enables early diagnosis of distal extremity pathologies in the process of regular examination of animals for infectious pathologies.
