SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a polyester resin composition, a polyester injection moulded article, a polyester extruded article, a polyester foam, a polyester container, a polyester-based bottle, a polyester-based tableware and a polyester-based baby bottle. Polyester resin composition for making articles contains 97.0 wt.% or more and 99.9 wt.% or less of polyester resin (A) and 0.1 wt.% or more and 3.0 wt.% or less of polycarbodiimide (B) having two or more carbodiimide groups in one molecule. In the polyester resin (A), the dicarboxylic acid constituent unit contains a terephthalic acid unit and/or 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid unit, 5 mol.% or more and 90 mol.% or less of a diol constituent unit in the polyester resin (A) is a link derived from a diol having a cyclic acetal skeleton and having following formula (1) or formula (2)

where each of R1 and R2 independently represents an aliphatic group having 1-10 carbon atoms, an alicyclic group having 3 or more and 10 or less carbon atoms, or an aromatic group having 6 or more and 10 or less carbon atoms, and

where R1 corresponds to the above definition; and R3 is an aliphatic group having 1 or more and 10 or less carbon atoms, an alicyclic group having 3 or more and 10 or less carbon atoms, or an aromatic group having 6 or more and 10 or less carbon atoms, and 0 mol.% or more and 90 mol.% or less of the constituent link of the diol are a link derived from an alicyclic diol.
EFFECT: providing a polyester resin composition which has excellent heat resistance, transparency and impact resistance and almost does not cause embrittlement after heat treatment.
