FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, particularly to cultivation of grain crops. Method of increasing the yield of winter rye in the conditions of the Central Non-Black Earth Region involves soil preparation, pre-sowing cultivation, care of crops before and after wintering, wherein peas for grain are used as a precursor. Seeds of hybrid of the first generation of winter rye ZU Forzetti are used as inoculating material. Nitrogen fertilizers in the form of ammonium nitrate are applied fractionally in three periods of plant growth: in autumn by sprouts in a dose of N25, in early spring N125 and in spring in period of stem elongation N25. Sowing is carried out at depth of 4-5 cm with a seeding rate of 2.5 million units/ha of germinating seeds.
EFFECT: proposed method of winter rye yield increase extends the range of products for production of high-quality rye grain due to creation of favourable conditions for growth and development of winter rye hybrid of the first generation, provides high yield and environmental safety of rye grain.
