FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: strain of bacteria Microbacterium sp. ET2, having the ability to stimulate the growth of wheat seeds and characterized by resistance to the action of grain dressing agents, is deposited under registration number “Ас-2212” in the Russian National Collection of Industrial Microorganisms. Invention can be used as a microbial preparation—a phytostimulator of growth and development of agricultural plants due to biosynthesis of auxins. Method of using the strain involves its cultivation in a medium with addition of 200–400 mcg/ml of L-tryptophan and use in form of initial or diluted liquid culture, including after drying in air. Strain is resistant to grain disinfectants, which ensures efficiency of its use due to a competitive advantage with respect to other bacteria, which are inhibited by the action of these substances.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to accelerate wheat growth and increase plant biomass growth at early stages of plants development.
