FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tank with an ejection armored capsule. Tank comprises armored hull, armored turret with gun, running gear, engine, ammunition rack, automatic loader, surveillance video cameras. In the front part of the tank hull there is an armored capsule equipped with a pyro cartridge for ejection. Capsule is separated from the fighting compartment by an arched armored partition. During ejection, the capsule slides on the body on skids fixed on rotary axes in the front part of the capsule. Ends of skids are connected by brace, which at movement of capsule acts on brake pedal, at the same time engine is switched off. After the capsule extends from the body, the skids turn on the pivot axes under the action of the springs, wherein the rear ends of the skids touch the ground. Under the action of the capsule weight, the springs are compressed and soften the impact of the capsule on the ground. After the capsule bottom touches the soil, the rods with hooks arranged along the axis of the springs enter the retainers located on the capsule body and are retained therein. Springs remain compressed after ejection. Projectile warheads in ammunition rack are directed away from crew.
