FIELD: cooling.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the technology of cooling metallurgical devices operating in the high temperature zone, in particular, blast, mainly copper, tuyeres of a blast furnace, during operation of which there is possible short-term ingress of liquid metal on the surface of the blast tuyere in the form of jets. Tuyere cavity cooling is carried out by means of an individual circulating pump installed between the circulating water tank and each tuyere in the bubbling water boiling mode, having temperature corresponding to water pressure in tuyere cavity. At that, a cooling system is used, which contains a recycled water tank, individual circulation pump installed between the recirculated water tank and the tuyere, with water supply and discharge pipelines from the tuyere cavity, note here that recirculating water tank is separate for every tuyere and has pipe to discharge steam from tuyere into manifold with built-in steam condenser.
EFFECT: longer service life of blast furnace tuyeres.
