FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to granulation of fused materials in non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy, such as matte, white matte, ferrous slag and other materials which do not form light-weight particles, and can be used both as a hot-melt unit and as a stand-alone unit when draining melts from an intermediate ladle or a mixer. Plant comprises a melt supply chute, a hydrogranulator connected to a water supply pump, receiving hopper-settling tank with exhaust pipe equipped with underwater grate and overflow device, an air lift for pumping out granules, a circulating water chamber and a dehydrator. As receiving hopper-settling tank it contains granulation tank, in the upper part it is made cylindrical, and in the lower part it is made conical. Air lift is installed coaxially inside the granulation tank and is equipped with a separating tubular shell, the lower part of which is connected to the granulation tank with the possibility of supply of cooled granules to the air lift suction.
EFFECT: provides compactness of arrangement of equipment in cramped conditions and reliability of operation.
