FIELD: copolymers.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a fiber-reinforced composition (C) for an injection molded article containing: a) from 57.0 to 94.9 wt.% of a propylene random copolymer (P), where the comonomer is selected from ethylene and/or at least one C4-C12 α-olefin, wherein said propylene random copolymer (P) has i) melt flow index MFI2 (230 °C, 2.16 kg), determined in accordance with ISO 1,133, in range from 45 to 150 g/10 min and ii) melting point Tm, determined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), in range from 125 to 150 °C, iii) number of 1,2-erythroregiodefects of at least 0.4 mol.%; b) from 5.0 to 40.0 wt.% fibers (F), wherein fibers (F) are glass fibers (GF), and c) from 0.1 to 5.0 wt.% adhesion promoter (AD), wherein the adhesion promoter is a polar modified polypropylene (PM-PP) homo- or copolymer, based on the total weight of the fiber-reinforced composition (C). Also described is an article containing said fiber-reinforced composition.
EFFECT: fiber-reinforced polypropylene composition with high fluidity is obtained, characterized by balanced rigidity and impact resistance, as well as low level of emissions.
