FIELD: gas processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: method of removing undesirable impurities from process streams during production of liquefied natural gas can be used in gas processing industry. Method includes steps of washing initial compressed natural gas (a), absorption extraction of acidic components (b), adsorption removal of moisture from compressed natural gas (c) and from refrigerant components (d). Water-methanol solution after step (a) is directed to a step for stripping methanol (e) from the stream of the water-methanol solution and concentrating it in a rectification column to form a stream of methanol concentrate. Formed at stage (e) methanol concentrate, at stage (b) flow of acid gases and at stages (c) and (d) gas streams of desorption are decontaminated at stage of thermal and/or catalytic oxidation (f).
EFFECT: providing flexibility of operation of equipment when changing both quantitative and qualitative content of undesirable impurities in initial natural gas with reduction of total energy consumption for removal of undesirable impurities from process streams.
