FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-destructive testing of condition of buried main pipelines. Main pass-through magnetic flaw detector comprises a cylindrical base, a magnetization system, an information pickup system containing magnetic field sensors, power supply unit, information collection and processing unit, flaw detector movement speed meters and the transported gas passage opening cross-section changing unit, including the gas bypass unit, the regulator and the drive, wherein gas bypass unit is composed of blade diaphragm with varying opening angle between blades and passage opening there between depending on speed variation.
EFFECT: maintaining optimum speed of projectile depending on speed of gas movement.
