FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to direction and positioning of metal products in a rolling plant comprising two or more rolling mill stands. Torsion guide comprises a support housing, to which at least two torsion rollers are connected, a control and monitoring unit and means for detecting the mutual position of said torsion rollers in a direction parallel to the adjustment direction. Detection means are configured to transmit data associated with the position of said torsion rollers to a monitoring and control unit, to allow adjusting the relative position of said torsion rollers in a direction parallel to said adjustment direction.
EFFECT: reduced or eliminated manual intervention of operators for customization and adjustment of torsion guide.
