SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING USER COGNITIVE FUNCTIONS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B5/31 A61B5/378 A61B5/386 A61B5/372 G16H20/70

Abstract RU 2820726 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Software and hardware system for improving the cognitive functions of a user comprises a computing device, a neurocomputer and software interfaces and a server. Computing device is a virtual reality helmet with the possibility of displaying information and has a client application. Neurocomputer interface comprises a neuroamplifier. Software interface is configured to be connected to a neuroamplifier and to activate commands for obtaining electrode resistances and/or for taking and recording brain electroencephalogram (EEG) data. Server includes a module for communication with a neurocomputer interface, a program interface core, a module for classifying EEG signals and a module for sending data to a client application. Method of linear discriminant analysis is used to classify EEG signals. Software interface comprises a signal buffering system and modules for controlling client applications with synchronization of start/stop/EEG recording commands between the application and the neuroamplifier.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of classification of EEG signals.
