Disclosed is a heater for an aerosol-generating device, comprising a first electrically conductive circuit configured to perform heating, and a second electrically conductive circuit arranged in parallel with the first electrically conductive circuit. First electrically conductive circuit and/or the second electrically conductive circuit may comprise a material having a relatively low temperature coefficient of resistance. Accordingly, the heater temperature increase rate can be significantly increased. Aerosol-generating device is also described.
