SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a container for collecting washing water of an iron and a method for washing an iron. Disclosed is a container for iron flushing water collection, which provides support of the steam iron plate during its cleaning. Container comprises upper half-body (11), having surface (S) for supporting the plate, and lower half-body (12) comprising support base (19) and side containing walls (20), forming containing compartment (21) for collection of water and steam released by the plate.
EFFECT: creation of a container suitable for use when cleaning an iron, which would allow safe and stably place the iron, without fatigue of the user and at the same time preventing possible harm that could be caused by water and steam when they get on delicate surfaces.
