FIELD: polymer materials.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used in making polymer articles. Modified mineral filler for making a polymer-containing material contains a bifunctional organosilicon compound, powdered mineral filler with particle size of 1–50 mcm and an organic solvent. A mixture of a bifunctional organosilicon compound and an organic solvent is applied on a stirred powdered mineral filler by fine spraying with mixing with shear energy of 55–100 J per 1 kg of mineral filler. Also disclosed is a method of producing a modified mineral filler and use thereof.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides an increase in the adhesion properties of the mineral filler, as well as improved physical and mechanical characteristics of polymer-containing material obtained using disclosed filler.
