FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to connection element (1) for creation of pipe connection between connection element (1) and plastic pipe or metal-plastic composite pipe. Connecting element (1) has at least one support part (2, 2a) provided with several circumferential external ribs (3, 3a, 3b, 3c) for pushing pipe end (14), wherein said at least one support part (2, 2a) has central axis (4), as well as open end (8), and at least two circumferential outer ribs (3, 3a, 3b, 3c) are inclined to central axis (4) at acute angle (9, 9a, 9b, 9c). Acute angle (9, 9a, 9b), under which the circumferential outer rib (3, 3a, 3b) is inclined to central axis (4), differs from acute angle (9a, 9b, 9c), under which at least one of circumferential outer ribs (3a, 3b, 3c), located at a greater distance from open end (8) than said circumferential outer rib (3, 3a, 3b), is inclined to central axis (4).
EFFECT: invention has the possibility of providing easier insertion of the connecting element into the end of the pipe.
