SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for searching for irregularities in the upper part of a geological section. Summary: device comprises a transmitting unit configured to emit signals, and a receiving unit. Transmitting unit comprises a broadband active antenna, an output power regulator, five band-pass filters, a signal receiver from a fibre-optic communication line, a power supply and battery condition monitoring module, and an adder. Receiving unit comprises broadband receiving antenna (11), two channel switches (12, 18), five band-pass filters (13–17), amplifier (19), frequency generating unit, optical transmitter (23), frequency divider by 4, program control unit (25), synchronous detector (26), two low-pass filters (27, 28), two analogue-to-digital converters (29, 30), data bank (31), control and monitoring device (32), battery power and control module (33). Frequency-generating unit comprises generator (20) consisting of a thermostable quartz generator of direct digital synthesis of reference frequencies and a line of frequency dividers, reference frequency generator (21) and reference frequency switching device (22).
