FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: pulse radar system comprises a short pulse shaper, a radio transmitter module including a series-connected microwave pulse generator and a transmit antenna, and a radio receiver module including a series-connected receive antenna and a phase detector of the receiving radio signal, as well as a microwave reference pulse generator. One of the outputs of the short pulse shaper is connected to the input of the microwave generator of the probe pulses, and the other to the input of the microwave reference pulse generator whose output is connected to the input of the phase detector of the receiving radio signal, the output of which is connected to the control and information processing unit, the system is also equipped with a generator of reference microwave signal and a divisor of the reference microwave signal. The input of the reference microwave generator is connected to the output of the short pulse driver, and its output is to the input of the microwave reference signal splitter, whose outputs are connected to the input of the microwave generator of the probing pulses of the radio transmitting module and to the input of the microwave generator of reference pulses.

EFFECT: improvement of the detection and measurement of the objects to be measured.
