FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to brushless DC electric machines converting input DC energy into output mechanical energy of shaft rotation. Brushless DC electric motor comprises toroidal stator with toroidal housing and winding and comprises rotor with permanent magnets installed inside stator housing. Rotor is made in the form of a ring consisting of two semi-ring permanent magnets, on the inner side of the rotor ring there is a rotor gear, on the inner side of the stator housing, which faces the axis of the torus, there are cutouts uniformly located along its inner perimeter. On the outer side of the stator housing, in sections located opposite the cutouts of the inner side, the stator winding is located linearly, in sections between the cutouts the winding is located spirally around the surface of the torus. In places of cuts of the stator housing the rotor gear engages with transmission gears interacting with the central gear of the engine shaft.
EFFECT: wider range of equipment due to creation of a brushless DC electric motor, which provides high power per unit weight, high speed of shaft rotation and reliability of its operation.
