SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to helicopter structures. In the power plant of the electric-powered helicopter ring-shaped electric motors are used. In the case of using two motors, they are located coaxially under each other, and the rotors of the motors rotate in opposite directions. The power plant is attached to the base structure with the possibility of a circular tilt at the desired angle relative to the vertical axis of the helicopter. Part of the fuselage of the base structure of the helicopter can have the form of a ball belt. Helicopter blades are attached to the rotors of the motors. The rotor of the electric motor, in whole or in part, has the shape of a washer with recesses or cutouts multiplied on a flat surface along the circumference, in which permanent magnets are placed. The stator is a ring of windings distributed around the circumference with gaps in the form of magnetic cores with air gaps correlating with the thickness of the rotor, arranged in such a way that the gaps of the magnetic cores form a single circular through air slot, inside which the rotor is located and rotates.

EFFECT: invention provides increasing the torque and efficiency of the motor, reducing the noise level, increasing the internal space, simplifying the design of the helicopter.
