FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for visualizing the operation of an electrical circuit and a system for visualizing the operation of an electrical circuit. Electrical circuit operation visualization system consists of electronic components models (101), connected to computing module (106) through peripheral circuit (107) connected to it. Each model (101) on each of its sections, which corresponds to the contact of the displayed electronic component, has a group of electrical contacts (107), each of which has at least two electrical contacts represented by contacts of first (103) or second kind (104). At least part of groups of electric contacts (102) has at least one contact of first kind (103) and at least one contact of second kind (104). Computing module (106) is able to determine presence of electrical connections between models (101) of electronic components, determine physical values on sections of visualized electric circuit consisting of electronic components, which models (101) are connected, and to reproduce to the user the results of determining physical quantities on sections of said electric circuit.

EFFECT: enabling visualization of operation of an electrical circuit composed of models representing electronic components of said electrical circuit and located on a single base.
