FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water treatment, namely to equipment used to produce desalinated water from surface low-mineralized sources with high content of colloidal silicic acid for make-up of drum boilers operating under pressure of 100 kg/cm2 and higher. Method of producing desalinated water is based on technology of counterflow regeneration "UPCORE". Treated water successively passes through a filter with a weakly acidic cationite, a filter with a strongly acidic cationite, a filter with a weakly basic anionite, a decarbonator, a weakly basic anionite loading chamber of a filter with a layer-by-layer loading of a weakly basic and a strongly basic anionite of a two-chamber design, a chamber for loading a strongly basic anionite of a filter with a layer-by-layer loading of a weakly and strongly basic anionite of a two-chamber design. After that, desalinated water is supplied to the membrane separation unit.
EFFECT: minimization of capital and operating costs when obtaining desalinated water of required quality due to reduction of consumption of reagents, electric power and water for own needs of the device.
