SUBSTANCE: invention relates to impact damping in mechanisms. Method of damping impact on electric drive uses electrodynamic damping of impact from mechanism of layout of aerodynamic surfaces of aircraft. Additional control of current in control motor is used as damper. Current limitation is provided during impact duration. After that, this circuit is switched off, thus for the duration of the impact the control motor is switched to the electromagnet mode performing the function of the electromagnetic damper.

EFFECT: reduced dimensions of the drive.
