FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to combustion research devices intended for use in space. Apparatus for investigating combustion processes on board a spacecraft comprises a replaceable research chamber. Chamber is made in the form of a hollow cylinder open on one side with sets of sensors and containers for investigating substances in different aggregate states and a working platform, on which there are fasteners for replaceable benches. Replaceable benches are equipped with devices for implementation of the combustion process of substances in the investigated aggregate states. Working platform is equipped with a mechanism for movement of the bench and a blowing unit and an igniter, a unit for removing waste gases. There are also platforms for installation of cylinders arranged on the frame outside the sealed container, a switch and a control unit, a manual control and display panel.

EFFECT: expanded operating performances of the device due to the ability to study several states of aggregation of flammable substances on board a spacecraft.
