FIELD: massage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanisms of massage chairs and can be used in massage chairs for improving the quality of massage. Massage mechanism of massage chair consists of two frame elements – seat and backrest, and also contains movable upper massage carriage installed in guides of chair back. Mechanism additionally comprises a movable lower massage carriage installed in the seat guides of the chair, where the backrest and seat guides converge to form single guides for the backrest and seat. Backrest is connected to the seat through a hinge joint and by means of two curved guides, which are made with the possibility of entering by their part from the lateral sides of the seat into the cavity of the seat space. At their ends the curvilinear guides contain rounded stops, each of which is installed inside the guide groove inside the side of the seat, where slots are located above and below relative to curved guide.
