FIELD: medicine and medicinal equipment for curative and prophylactic massaging.
SUBSTANCE: massaging apparatus has base with drive formed as bushing-and-roller chains arranged in parallel planes, massaging members formed as set of plates having semi-cylindrical bases mounted on frame in abutting relationship with respect to one another for displacement in vertical plane, and plate moving mechanism including cylinders whose pins are fixed in opposite relation on links of opposite chains, and flat plate for rolling of cylinders. Flat plate is secured in guides for displacement perpendicular to its own plane and is placed so as to contact with eccentric cams positioned for rotation for the purpose of displacing flat plate. Diameters of cylinders exceed distance between flat plate and massaging members.
EFFECT: wider range of therapeutic actions varied by regulating of massaging force.
