FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for surgical treatment of deficiency of active knee extension with high patella in patients with infantile cerebral paralysis. To achieve maximum tension of the proper ligament, the patella is brought down. Vertical traction of excess part of proper ligament is carried out by Buyalsky elevator. Protruding duplicator is formed, which is fixed with sutures along the lateral surfaces of the ligament. Duplicator is set under the proper ligament and closed with a continuous lavsan suture.
EFFECT: method provides reducing the risk of postoperative complications and reducing the length of postoperative immobilisation and eliminates the risk of injury of the growth zone of the tibia due to the surgical intervention only on soft tissues without bringing down the tibial tuberosity.
