FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: first skin incision is made along the interior surface of thigh up to a tibial tubercle. A semitendinosus tendon is isolated up to an attachment point to pes anserinus. The tendon is dissected away from a myogaster; the latter is anchored to the myogaster of gracilis. The second skin incision is made along the interior surface of the knee joint from the upper pole of the patella downwards and below the tibial tubercle. A transverse tunnel is formed in the patella. The semitendinosus tendon is brought along the inner border of the patella ligament, through a bone transverse tunnel of the patella inside out, along the outer border of the patella ligament. The patella is displaced downwards. The graft is pulled on, fixed to the ligament; a graft end is immersed into the pre-formed transverse tibial tunnel. The wounds are closed. A plaster bandage is applied in the middle physiological position from toe tips to a gluteal fold.
EFFECT: method normalises the patella ligament tone without involving a growth plate.
