FIELD: pharmaceutical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a therapeutic composition for accelerating the healing of burn wounds. Therapeutic composition for local application on the skin accelerates the healing of burn wounds in the experiment, includes dimethyl sulphoxide, differs in that composition is solution of 1-hydroxygermatrane monohydrate in concentration of 10 vol.% in 30% aqueous solution of dimethyl sulphoxide.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to increase intensity of proliferative-reparative processes in conditions of correction of skin burn wound healing, namely: healing of burn injury with applications of 10 vol.% of 1-hydroxygermatran monohydrate in 30% solution of dimethyl sulphoxide is reliably 46.6% faster than when using one 30% dimethyl sulphoxide; faster healing from 35th to 25th day, reduces the length of the course of treatment by almost 29%—15 days; faster healing allows reducing the amount of the mixture used for healing burns; accelerated healing of burn injury with applications of 10 vol.% 1-hydroxygermatran monohydrate in 30% solution of dimethylsulfoxide leads to multiple reduction, up to zeroing, of post-burn keloid scars.
