FIELD: monitoring of user actions.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for monitoring the effectiveness of user actions during the cyclic operation of the simulator. The simulator contains a pair of drive elements (31, 32), driven by human limbs, connected for cyclic movement. The method includes the steps of: (i) measuring and monitoring the driving force applied to the drive elements (31, 32) during the cyclic movement of the drive elements (31, 32) and generating one or more force signals indicating this; (ii) applying one or more force signals to obtain for each movement cycle of the drive elements (31, 32) at least one maximum user performance factor signal indicating the change in force relative to the maximum force value measured for that movement cycle, and at least one minimum user performance factor signal indicating a change in force relative to the minimum force value measured for that motion cycle; (iii) applying the maximum and minimum user performance ratio signals obtained in step (ii) to generate a user performance evaluation signal that indicates the performance of the user in controlling the cyclic movement of the actuating elements; and (iv) applying the user performance evaluation signal when recording, displaying, printing, storing, downloading, uploading, or transmitting one or more indicators representing the user performance evaluation signal.
