FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to standby source of electric and heat energy. Source contains housing made in the form of a mobile portable container, a supply tank with water or antifreeze is mounted inside the housing, which is connected to a reactor containing a port, to which replaceable cartridges with metal hydride are connected with possibility of separate successive operation. Mechanical vibrators are mounted on both sides of the cartridge to create incoherent oscillations with exclusion in the volume of the cartridge of zones with low mobility of reacting substances as a result of wave interference. Air supply means are mounted on fuel cell unit, fuel cell unit is configured to be connected via a port with a hydrogen supply line or a hydrogen cylinder and with the possibility of providing the formation of electricity and water as a result of combining hydrogen with air oxygen, fuel cell unit is connected to a supply tank for supplying formed water and with a buffer accumulator battery configured to accumulate the generated electricity, buffer accumulator battery is connected to electric energy converter, made with possibility of electric energy conversion to parameters required for electric energy consumer.
EFFECT: increased versatility and efficiency of electric and heat energy source.
