SUBSTANCE: invention relates to anisotropic electrical steel sheet and method of its production. Sheet has a finish annealing film, consisting mainly of forsterite, and an insulating coating containing pseudo-tetragonal aluminium borate and silicon dioxide on its surface, wherein one or both surfaces of the steel sheet have linear grooves or rows of dot-shaped depressions with depth of 5 to 40 mcm.
EFFECT: reduction of magnetic losses in sheets of anisotropic electrical steel.
