FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to anisotropic electrical steel sheet and methods of its formation. Sheet comprises a base steel sheet and an insulating coating formed on the surface of the base steel sheet, wherein the insulating coating comprises an intermediate layer formed on the side of the main steel sheet and containing crystalline metal phosphate, and a coating layer with tension formed on the surface side of the insulating coating, wherein the average thickness of the intermediate layer is 0.3–10.0 mcm, the average thickness of the insulating coating is 2.0–10.0 mcm, crystalline phosphate of the metal of the intermediate layer is one, two or more of zinc phosphate, manganese phosphate, iron phosphate and zinc-calcium phosphate, the coating layer with tension contains metal phosphate and silicon dioxide, and the amount of silicon dioxide in the coating layer with tension is 20–60 wt.%.
EFFECT: improved adhesion of the coating, tension of the coating and magnetic characteristics.
